Weather and terrain
Open inland waters, reed-lined shores and variable lake weather.
Broad inland waters shape the shore settlements of Heartmere. Boats carry people, goods and news across a landscape of reeds and distant lights. Beyond these shores begin the Saolim Riverlands, a separate territory whose merchants compete for the same waterways.
Heartmere is a separate inland lake region. Its shore communities and the Saolim Riverlands compete over rights to rafts and waterways. The territorial boundary remains to be reviewed against the map.

Open inland waters, reed-lined shores and variable lake weather.
Shore landings and water-dependent settlements; central institutions remain undocumented.
No single region-wide religious rite has yet been confirmed in the public record.
Contested raft rights, narrow passages and an unresolved boundary with Saolim.
SOURCE CONTEXTThe lake and the Saolim waterways are linked, but do not form one political region. Their exact frontier is not mapped.

Older chronicles remember the Heartmere Wars, but not every cause, allegiance or consequence has survived. Waterways and markets outlasted the battles. What remains is a region where access to a landing can matter as much as a claim to a crown.
The great inland lake joins tributaries, shallows and broad channels into a single lived landscape. Some shores belong to Heartmere, others to the neighbouring Saolim Riverlands. Their exact territorial boundary is disputed and cannot be drawn as a certain line.
Along Heartmere, life follows the movement of boats, changing water levels and the rhythm of shore markets. Contacts with Saolim raft crews are ordinary and necessary. Competition over passages and transport rights can make those same encounters tense.
Reed beds, shallow waters and sheltered banks shape the ecology of Heartmere. River birds move over the open channels, while the surrounding waterways support a rich variety of wetland life. Farther along the river system, the Saolim maintain their own traditions of travelling with river serpents.
Geography and history follow the approved novel and MYRHA compendium. Game-world concept material remains explicitly marked in linked entries.
Four perspectives on power, daily life and memory, drawn from the traditions and everyday lives of its people.
Heartmere is an independent lake region, not a district of the Saolim Riverlands. Its central form of government is not yet established in the public record.
Life follows arrivals, crossings and the changing opportunities of the shore. No single shared ritual has yet been established for the entire region.
Rafts, landings and waterways connect the people here. Transport rights, especially those involving trained river serpents, bring disputes with Saolim.
The two regions occupy separate territories on different shores. Which specific shores belong to each remains open until the map is formally reviewed.
The two water regions are politically distinct. Their precise boundary has not yet been confirmed; map pins are not border markers.

Individual scenes instead of repeated map crops. Conceptual artwork is explicitly identified as design work.

Islands, reed banks and waterways connect the lake country.
